Who is behind the work?
Owner Ray Chatfield began painting trucks in his driveway in 1981 and opened Truck Collision Services in 1990. Today our family-owned shop is a one-stop shop for commercial truck and trailer repair, proudly serving the entire state of Michigan.

In 1999 we expanded our facility by 18,000 square feet to bring every truck collision repair need under one roof. Today our 23,000 square foot Lansing shop handles frame, body and paint work in-house. We never sublet repairs, so your truck stays with the same business through disassembly, repair, refinishing and final inspection. That gives us direct oversight of both the quality and the timing of your job.

Our business holds the I-CAR Gold Class collision repair certification for heavy trucks. Owner Ray Chatfield began painting trucks in 1981, and our family-owned business opened in 1990. We bring that heavy truck focus to structural repair, body work and refinishing for commercial trucks and trailers. From the initial damage inspection to reassembly and quality inspection, the work is completed in our own facility.
